Online betting punters were spoilt for choice this weekend as Real Madrid continued their European dominance, City Of Troy bounced back spectacularly to land the Derby whilst there was French Open action and the opening matches of the T20 World Cup.

We have ran through the big winning spreads to pull out three selections which landed canny punters a decent return, starting with the final match of the Serie A season.

ATALANTA v FIORENTINA – 1ST HALF GOALS (SETTLED AT FIVE)

Italy’s two European final representatives finally concluded their regular season at the weekend as Fiorentina and Atalanta played out a thriller in Bergamo.

All of the goals came in an action packed first half which saw Atalanta twice peg back their visitors only for Andrea Belotti to score what would turn out to be the winner on the stroke of half time.

With La Viola winning 3-2, it was a good day for those who had placed a buy bet on our 1st Half Goals football spread betting market. Before kick-off at the Gewiss Stadium, the spread was 1.35-1.55, but with the market settling at five, buyers won 3.45x their stake.

HULL KR v LEIGH – MATCH MULTI-POINTS (SETTLED AT 36)

Hull KR continued their impressive season with a hard-fought victory over Leigh at Craven Park on Saturday evening.

The Robins are the third highest scorers in the league, this year, but defences were on top in a match that saw just two tries with Mikey Lewis converting efforts from Tom Opacic and Niall Evalds either side of half time.

A low scoring affair that finished 12-0 was generally good news for sellers and those who placed a sell bet on our Match Multi-Points spread (first half points total multiplied by second) saw the market settle at 36.

With the spread at 440-483 before kick-off, this meant that sellers won 304x their stake.

IGA SWIATEK v ANASTASIA POTAPOVA – POTAPOVA POINTS (SETTLED AT 10)

Polish sensation Iga Swiatek cruised through to the second week of the French Open after she despatched Anastasia Potapova 6-0, 6-0 in just 40 minutes. Only Steffie Graf’s 1988 final win in 32 minutes has been quicker than Swiatek’s success on the Roland Garros clay and the Pole will fancy her chances of landing a fourth French Open title.

Potapova never got into the game and mustered just ten points all match. Before play began the spread on Potapova Points was 47-51, but with the market settling at ten, tennis spread betting punters who placed a sell bet aced a win of 37x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
