After another weekend of top class sports and a multitude of dramatic action, as always in our daily betting blog we run through the big spread betting winners from the weekend!

Some of the key action came from weekend football including Man City securing a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title, Alexander Zverev grabbed his second Rome Masters in the tennis and Oleksandr Usyk came out victorious in the 'Ring of Fire' undisputed fight with Tyson Fury.

Here we run through some of those big winning spread bets.

PREMIER LEAGUE FINAL DAY – TOTAL GOAL MINUTES (SETTLED AT 1,698)

We start with the football betting action and the Premier League where the title race was finally decided as Man City secured a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title at Arsenal's expense. Although the Gunners won their match against Everton 2-1, City ran out 3-1 winners against West Ham to ensure they took the crown.

Away from the title contenders, Man Utd ended their disappointing season on a positive note with a 2-0 win over Brighton while Champions League-bound Aston Villa fell to an uncharacteristically poor 5-0 defeat to Crystal Palace and Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool secured a 2-0 win versus Wolves in the German's final match in charge.

For football spread bettors, Spreadex offered special group markets for the final day, including Total Goal Minutes aggregated across all ten matches. For those who predicted a lower make-up, selling on the aggregate Total Goal Minutes market proved very profitable. With the starting spread at 1,905 - 1,975, a make-up of just 1,698 resulted in a big winning sell bet of 207x their stake!

ALEXANDER ZVEREV v NICOLAS JARRY - POINT SUPREMACY ZVE/JAR (SETTLED AT 19)

Next we move to the tennis action and it was pure joy for Germany's Alexander Zverev as he defeated the tough Chilean Nicolas Jarry to win his second career Rome Masters title. Zverev was in imperious form throughout the tournament and was unstoppable behind his serve here as he left Jarry with little chance of an upset.

The match, in truth, was dominated behind serve by both men for large parts, but Zverev's greater quality pushed Jarry to the limit in the pressure moments at the end of both sets, and his experience at this level ultimately allowed him to seal the victory 6-4 7-5.

Spread betting punters who placed a buy bet on the Points Supremacy market in favour of Zverev at an opening spread at 5 - 9 saw a make-up of 19 and a return of 10x their stake.

TYSON FURY V OLEKSANDR USYK - COMPLETED ROUNDS SQUARED (SETTLED AT 144)

And finally, we finish with the boxing action as Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk was crowned as the undisputed heavyweight boxing champion in his mega-fight with Britain's Tyson Fury in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.

In a fight which played out befitting of what was at stake, both men brought their best across twelve brutal rounds, which included a dramatic ninth where Fury was seemingly out on his feet under a barrage of Usyk left hands, but ultimately survived after a standing count from the referee.

However, despite facing some difficult rounds himself, Usyk was awarded the victory on a split-decision and solidified his status as one of the greatest fighters of the modern era by adding the undisputed heavyweight crown to the cruiserweight accomplishment he achieved earlier in his career.

In terms of spread betting, punters who decided to place a buy bet on our Completed Rounds Squared market made good profit after the 12-round war. With the starting spread at 110 - 119, a final make-up of 144 meant a return of 25x their opening stake!
