Daily Spread Betting Round-up
A massive weekend of sport ended up being a massively disappointing one for fans of England's Rugby and Cricket sides as both fell to agonising defeats to South Africa, while in the Premier League there was an exciting 2-2 draw in the London derby at Stamford Bridge.
However, online betting punters saw plenty of potential profits, and, as always, we look at some of the best bets and spread betting winners from the weekend.
With plenty more sport coming up this week, make sure you don't miss any of the action and keep an eye out for our pre-match and in-play price boosts on the website or our betting app, which you can download in the App Store or Google Play store.

We start in the Premier League where football spread betting punters saw plenty of exciting action, but it is Villa Park where we focus our attention for this selling bet big winner.
Unai Emery's Villa side have been a revelation throughout 2023 and only Man City have won more league points in this calendar year. That impressive run continued this weekend as Villa hosted West Ham and secured a dominant 4-1 victory, with four of the five match goals coming in a frenetic second period.
Douglas Luiz scored a double for the hosts and the win had added gloss from goals by Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey, while Jarred Bowen got what was ultimately a consolation for the Hammers. While there were five goals and a sizeable fifteen corners in the match, there was only one booking.
For spread betting punters wagering who decided to sell on the Goals x Corners x Bookings market, a make-up of just 750 from a starting pre-match spread of 1425 - 1575 meant a tidy return of 675x bettors’ initial stake!

In the weekend Rugby World Cup action, England suffered an agonising defeat against South Africa as despite a strong first half, the Springboks ultimately proved too strong to secure the win and a place in the final by a score of 16-15.
In what was an extremely cagey affair, England belied their status as underdogs to take a commanding 12-6 lead into the second-half with Owen Farrell proving instrumental with the boot, scoring four penalty goals.
However, the second half was where the Springboks proved why they are the defending champions, and a single try in the 69th minute from RG Snyman was the decisive blow which ended England's memorable and somewhat unexpected run in the competition.
For rugby spread betting punters, selling was the smart move on the Total Try Minutes market. With a pre-match spread of 237 - 254, sellers were left with a win of up to 168x their opening stake - perhaps a decent dampener for disappointed English fans.

And finally, we end with the 2023 Cricket World Cup action where cricket spread betting punters also made good profit from selling bets. While not yet a terminal loss in the same way as their rugby counterparts suffered, it was another bit of glory for South Africa at English expense as the Proteas secured a comfortable win in India.
England ultimately fell to a 229-run defeat as they were bowled out for just 170 runs compared to South Africa's 399/7. Although chances still remain for a semi-final place, massive improvements will be needed and another defeat is simply not an option.
For spread betting punters that had the foresight to go against the betting favourites and back the South Africans, selling the Run Supremacy market proved a savvy choice. With a pre-match spread of 3 - 13, the make-up of -229 meant a profit return of 232x bettors' opening stake.
