It’s time to take a look at 5 sports spread bets to watch out for this weekend! 1. Egypt vs Zimbabwe – Mohamed Salah to Score First & Last, 12.5-20Joining a crowded summer for international football, the African Cup of Nations kicks off on Friday night, as hosts (and 2017’s beaten finalists) Egypt taking on Zimbabwe at 9pm on Eurosport 2. Somewhat bafflingly, the 2017 edition of the competition saw Junior Kabananga as top goalscorers with a measly 3 goals. Mohamed Salah will be aiming to near that in his 1st game, with Spreadex having him at a binary To Score First & Last spread of 12.5-20. It is worth noting that just one goal would see Salah become Egypt’s 2nd highest scorer of all time, surpassing Hassan El Shazly. 2. Royal Ascot Day 4 – Frankie Dettori SM, 28.5-30.5After his Fabulous Four on Thursday, one that saw the jockey win the Gold Cup for the 2nd year in a row on the back of Stradivarius, can Frankie Dettori do the unthinkable and repeat that feat on Friday? The Italian rides in 5 of the day’s 6 races, and sits at a Frankie Dettori SM spread of 27-29 – where the 1st win is awarded 25 points, the 2nd 50, the 3rd 75, and any subsequent victory after that another 25 (alongside 10 points for 2nd place and 5 points for 3rd). In contrast, Ryan Moore is at 80-84, mainly because he sits atop favourites Japan in the Kind Edward VII Stakes, Ten Sovereigns in the Commonwealth Cup, and Hermosa in the Coronation Stakes. 3. Women’s World Cup – England Outright Index, 49-52With an unbeaten run in the group stages, including a 2-0 victory over Japan, and a winnable last-16 clash against Cameroon – Spreadex is offering an England/Cameroon Goal Supremacy spread of 2.25-2.45 – England remain amount the favourites for the competition. Phil Neville’s side have an Outright Index spread of 49-52, ahead of hosts France at 44-47, but behind the USA and Germany at 52-55 and 53-57 respectively. 4. St Helens vs Leeds Rhinos – Ash Handley SMM, 24-27Comfortably leading the Super League, 6 points ahead of Warrington, St Helens won’t be anticipating too many problems when they face a troubled Leeds Rhinos on Friday night. However, the Saints shouldn’t get complacent. They suffered a shock loss to the London Broncos at the start of the month. And the Rhinos have Ash Handley, whose 14 tries are equal to that managed by Regan Grace and Tommy Makinson, even if he sits at a Super Mega Player Try Minutes spread of 24-27 to their 60-65 and 57-62 respectively. 5. Ecuador vs Chile – Multi-Bookings, 620-740Given that Ecuador had Jose Quintero sent off after just 24 minutes in their opener against Uruguay, there’s the chance for some South American fieriness when Los Amarillos tackle defending champs Chile on Friday. That means the Multi Bookings spread of 620-740 – 1st Half Bookings Points x 2nd Half Booking Points – is maybe worth a watch, especially since the market tends to produce the month’s biggest make-ups.Disclaimer: any prices quoted are subject to change.
