Will Man City continue their seemingly unstoppable march towards Premier League glory with a win at Burnley this Saturday, at 12.30pm on Sky Sports? More and more mid-January’s record run-ending loss to Liverpool is looking a mere blip for Man City. Since then they’ve secured their place in the EFL Cup final, beaten Newcastle 3-0 and West Brom 3-1 in the league, and perhaps most tellingly for Saturday, thrashed Burnley 4-1 in the FA Cup, before going on to brush aside Cardiff in the 4th round. Throughout that period Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne have been electric, and sit at Super Mega PGMs of 70-80, 35-41 and 20-24 respectively. Despite over-performing all season – Burnley currently sit in 7th – that heavy FA Cup loss, not to mention their 3-0 league defeat back in October, does not bode well for the Clarets. Spreadex are offering a hefty Manchester City/Burnley (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 1.7-1.9 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.9-3.1. After a mid-week embarrassment and some high profile transfer action, Arsenal will be looking for a fresh start when they host Everton at 5.30pm on BT Sport 1. December and January were incredibly testing for the Gunners; they drew 5, won 3 and lost 3 – including Tuesday’s visit to Swansea – in the league, while crashing out in the FA Cup 3rd round to Nottingham Forest. However, they did sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – who sits at a Super Mega PGM of 57-67 – for a club record fee, a glimmer of hope in an otherwise worrisome winter. Everton, meanwhile, have just come out the other side of their own dark period, winless in consecutive games. Yet they did manage to beat Leicester on Wednesday, with Theo Walcott, who has a Super Mega PGM of 10-14, picking up a brace. The former Gunner might not have a welcome return to the Emirates, however, with Spreadex offering an Arsenal/Everton Goal Supremacy spread of 1.6-1.8 alongside a Total Goals spread of 3.1-3.3. Sunday then sees Crystal Palace and Newcastle seek to put a bit more distance between them and the relegation zone at 2.15pm on Sky Sports. Roy Hodgson’s men sit in 13th on 26 points, 2 ahead of the Toon in 14th but only 3 above 18th place Southampton. Both sides, then, could rapidly fall back down the table with just one slip up, piling the pressure on Sunday’s game. Hodgson has done a remarkable job at Palace. The London club have only lost 2 games – both to Arsenal – in their last 14 league games, and have gone from guaranteed relegation to something more hopeful. That’s far better form than their Sunday visitors, with Spreadex offering a Crystal Palace/Newcastle Goal Supremacy spread of 0.4-0.6 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.4-2.6. Finally Tottenham will attempt to leapfrog Liverpool and jump into the top 4 when they travel to Anfield, at 4.30pm on Sky Sports. Spurs picked up an important victory on Wednesday, beating Man United 2-0 to come within a whisker of the Champions League spots. And while Liverpool secured a 3-0 win against Huddersfield on the same night, their 1-0 loss to Swansea the week previous means they are in danger of swapping places with the North London opponents. The game also sees a battle between the Premier League’s 2 top scorers: Harry Kane is on 21 goals, and a Super Mega PGM of 42-49, with Mohamed Salah on 19 and a spread of 43-50. The Reds seems to have a home advantage, with Spreadex offering a Liverpool/Tottenham Goal Supremacy spread of 0.3-0.5 alongside a Total Goals spread of 3-3.2.
