Only a few days into a busy summer tour, will India seal a T20I victory in Cardiff on Friday, or can England prevent another collapse?

The tourists played hella well on Tuesday, romping to an 8 wicket victory at Old Trafford. KL Rahul was the star, securing an unbeaten century, his second in T20 internationals. The 23-year old Kuldeep Yadav also made his presence felt, picking up his first ever 5-wicket haul in T20Is. Not to be left out, captain Virat Kohli entered the record books, becoming the faster player to score 2000 runs in terms of innings in T20Is, even if his tally on the day amounted to just 20 runs.

In comparison, there’s was much for England to celebrate. The highlight was Jos Buttler making 69 (nice) in the face of an awful showing from the country’s middle order, including golden ducks for Yorkshire’s Jonny Bairstow and Test captain Joe Root (who really is not having a great time of it at the moment).

Heading into Friday and England will be hoping that they’ve learnt from their mistakes. Things are certainly close spread-betting wise. The hosts sit at an England/India Supremacy spread of -6-2, where 1 point is awarded for each run, or 10 points for each wicket, a match is won by. As for the binary spreads, England are at 44.4-50 to win the match, surprisingly not that far behind India, at 50-55.6, given what happened in Manchester.

In terms of who could be the difference-maker, Buttler has the best Player Performance spread of everyone, at 50-55, leaving quite the gap between the 27-year old and his teammates, with Jason Roy at 32-36 and Moeen Ali at 31-35. As for India, Kohli shares a spread of 38-43 with Hardik Pandya, followed by Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, both of whom are at 35-39.
