Can Scotland continue their quest for UEFA Nations League promotion when they travel to Israel, at 7.45pm on Sky Sports Main Event?

Having come away from their pre-competition friendly against Belgium with a 4-0 battering at Hampden Park, hopes weren’t high heading into their first game against Albania. Yet they ended up getting off to a far better start than maybe was expected.

While nothing much happened in the first half, it didn’t take long for the 2nd act to bring a bit of excitement, with Atalanta centre back Berat Djimsiti giving Scotland the lead just 2 minutes after the break thanks to an own goal. Steven Naismith doubled that lead 20 minutes later, with the hosts riding out the remainder of the game in relative comfort.

Since then they’ve also lost a friendly in Northern Ireland, the Green and White Army winning 3-0. Yet they do perhaps have a secret weapon in Moanes Dabour, who has 15 goals this season for the so far unbeaten RB Salzburg and sits at a Super Mega PGM of 27-32.

The presence of Dabour perhaps makes things closer than the visitors would like, with Spreadex offering a tight Scotland/Israel Goal Supremacy spread of 0.05-0.25 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.15-2.35.
