Can Hampton & Richmond embarrass Oldham in Monday night’s FA Cup 1st round fixture, at 7.45pm on BT Sport 1?

Though the Beavers might not be having the best time of it in the National League South, where they’re stuck in 15th place, they’ve had a decent little run in FA Cup qualifying. Their campaign kicked off against Burgess Hill Town in the 2nd qualifying round, with Gary McCann’s men picking up a 3-0 win at the Beveree Stadium.

They didn’t enjoy quite as easy a time of it from then on, however, only narrowly beating AFC Hornchurch and Eastleigh 1-0. Nevertheless the club can feel mighty pleased with itself, reaching the competition proper for only the 3rd time in its history, and the first since 2007/08.
