There are three televised games involving our partner clubs with the pick of the action coming on Saturday evening as Sunderland travel to Portman Road for a clash with high-flying Ipswich.

Elsewhere Norwich travel to Hull this evening whilst Plymouth’s trip to Huddersfield is a vital match for both sides.

If you are putting a coupon together this weekend, be sure to take advantage of our fantastic acca boost feature which can boost your odds up to 75%. We also have a wide range in-play options as well as our bet builder feature and an extensive list of football spread betting markets.

HULL CITY v NORWICH CITY, FRIDAY 8PM

If Norwich are to make a sustained assault on the top six this season, then games like tonight’s are really one they could be doing with winning as they travel to seventh-placed Hull City in a televised clash.

The hosts, who have bolstered their attack with the loan signing of Liverpool starlet Fabio Carvalho, are the 6/5 favourites with the draw at 5/2. A win for the Canaries, which would be their first in five games having drawn with Bristol Rovers in the cup last weekend, is available at 2/1.

We have some boosted bets for this one with Hwang Ui-Jon 14/5 from 12/5 to score for Norwich whilst Hull’s Irish international Aaron Connolly is 19/10 from 13/8 to do the same.

CARDIFF CITY v LEEDS UNITED, SATURDAY 3PM

Cardiff are another side who are hovering around the edge of the play-offs, but they will have their work cut out against a Leeds side who, despite struggling on the road at times, go into the match as 13/20 favourites.

United’s Welsh trio of Ethan Ampadu, Dan James, and Joe Rodon will add an extra element to this unusual rivalry which sees Cardiff priced at 15/4 and the draw at 19/10.

The two sides played out a 2-2 draw on the opening weekend of the season and in our football spread betting markets Shirt Numbers can be bought or sold at 39-42 whilst Total Goals is 2.6-2.8.

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN v PLYMOUTH ARGYLE, SATURDAY 3PM

A particularly tricky match to call sees partner club Huddersfield Town play host to Plymouth Argyle as both sides look to keep their heads above water in the relegation scrap.

Ian Foster managed a win in his first match in charge against Sutton United last weekend, but his side have struggled on the road in the league and they are narrow 13/8 outsiders for this one.

Town owner Kevin Nagle has got the chequebook out already in January with Darren Moore hoping that Bojan Radulovic and Alex Matos can add a bit of bite to the Terriers. The hosts are 29/20 to secure what would be a vital three points with the draw at 5/2.

Town were beaten 3-1 at Home Park earlier this season and you can back BTTS at 1/2 whilst in the football spread betting markets Total Goal Minutes can be bought or sold at 147-157 (this spread settled at 200 in that 3-1 win for Plymouth back in August).

WEST BROMWICH ALBION v BLACKBURN ROVERS, SATURDAY 3PM

There is a partner club derby taking place at The Hawthorns on Saturday as Blackburn travel to West Bromwich Albion. The hosts are 8/15 in our Championship top six odds and they Carlos Corberan’s side are 7/10 to keep the good times rolling with a win over Rovers.

Blackburn have struggled for form since their early season promise and the Lancashire side sit in 17th place having won just one of their last eight league games. They can be backed at 7/2 to arrest the slide whilst the draw is 14/5.

Rovers’ 2-0 home defeat to Leeds United in early December was the only one in a run of 13 matches to see under 2.5 goals scored in it and you can back overs at 8/11 in this one whilst football spread betting punters may well want to take a look at the Total Goals spread which is currently 2.7-2.9.

Finally, we have one boosted bet which is likely to draw plenty of attention with the league’s top scorer Sammie Szmodics now 17/5 from 14/5 to hit the back of the net this weekend.

IPSWICH TOWN v SUNDERLAND, SATURDAY 5:30PM

Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich side can feel the heat at the top end of the Championship and despite their good start to the season, they are 4/5 in our Championship promotion odds with Leeds at 4/6 and Southampton 8/11.

They face principal partners Sunderland this weekend at Portman Road and the Black Cats are 12/5 to collect three points on the road as they look to sustain a play-off push. A first win in six league games for the hosts is 11/10 and with Town drawing four of their last five in the league, the 23/10 about the scores being level in East Anglia won’t be going unbacked.

Cardiff and Bristol City are the only top half sides to have scored less than Sunderland this season and with our traders unable to split over/under 2.5 you can back either option at 5/6.

QPR v WATFORD, SUNDAY 12PM

QPR are right up against it towards the bottom of the Championship and the West Londoners are in desperate need of points with Sheffield Wednesday stringing some impressive results together under the stewardship of Danny Rohl.

The R’s are 19/10 for their clash on Sunday as they welcome Watford to Loftus Road. An away win is available to back at 29/20 with the Hornets sitting four points outside the play-offs and winless in their last three league matches.

Generally speaking, there have been plenty of goals in Watford’s clashes this season with both sides scoring in their last nine league matches and you can back a Watford win and BTTS at a boosted 5/1 from 15/4.
