The decider at Headingley then saw England return the favour from the opening match, beating India by 8 wickets as Joe Root secured his 2nd century of the series and the 13th of his career, a new English record. In terms of tour closer, England are at a To Win the Series spread of 54.5-60, compared to India’s 26.7-33.3, with the Series to be Drawn at 10.5-15.4.
