Flat racing and Test cricket are two hallmarks of the British sporting summer and we anticipate plenty of online betting action from the Ebor Festival and Old Trafford respectively. Also drawing the eye this week from a betting perspective is the European football qualifiers, with plenty of British and Irish interest.

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.
One of the premier meetings of the year for horse racing betting punters is upon us as some of the best flat horses in the country head to York to race on the world famous Knavesmire.
The action gets underway tomorrow (Wednesday) and is headlined by the Group 1 Juddmonte International. With a roll call of winners that includes star names like Mishriff and Frankel, City Of Troy is likely to be the strong favourite tomorrow having won the Derby and the Eclipse already this season.
The Yorkshire Oaks will be the pick of the action on Thursday whilst Friday sees the Nunthorpe Stakes take place with Asfoora and Big Evs currently vying for favouritism in our antepost markets.
With the Ebor Handicap taking place on Saturday, we will be across all of the action from Yorkshire this week with our daily spread betting markets as well as plenty of festival specials.

Also getting underway tomorrow is England’s three-match Test series with Sri Lanka in which the hosts are 1/4 favourites to win the match. Old Trafford will be the venue for what will be a changed England outfit with both Zak Crawley and Ben Stokes absent through injury. Ollie Pope will aim to lead the side through the series with Harry Brook stepping up to the vice-captain role.
Surrey’s Dan Lawrence, often found in the middle order, will open alongside the diminutive Ben Duckett whilst the ever dependable Chris Woakes will be asked to cover the hole left by Stokes.
Sri Lanka’s most recent Test outing was a 2-0 series win over subcontinent rivals Bangladesh with the Lions impressing with the ball in that series. Kamindu Mendis also starred with the bat in that series, but Sri Lanka’s best chance of avoiding defeat would be praying for some traditional Manchester weather. The draw can be backed at 5/1 with a win for the tourists at 8/1.
We will have top batsman prices as well as our full range of cricket spread betting options for you to enjoy as play approaches in Manchester.
There are plenty of British and Irish sides in action this week as we approach the qualification for the group stage proper.
In the Europa League, Hearts have a tricky looking away tie against Viktoria Plzen to negotiate whilst Shamrock Rovers will head to northern Greece as 13/1 outsiders for their battle with PAOK.
Having secured back-to-back Irish League titles, Larne will be looking to make the group stages of European football for the first time and they face Lincoln Red Imps in what could well be a winnable tie for the Antrim side. There is Scottish representation in this round as well, with Kilmarnock heavy outsiders in their match-up with FC Copenhagen and Dublin outfit ST Pat’s are 6/1 shots to win their home tie with Basaksehir.
Finally, Chelsea are used to gracing the Champions League but a stuttering season last time out has seen the Blues enter the Europa Conference League qualifying at the final round and they welcome Swiss side Servette to Stamford Bridge on Thursday.
We will have a full range of price boosts and a great selection of football spread betting markets for all of the action this week.
