Spread Bets Of The Day
Will Chelsea or Leicester end the night in 3rd place? Will West Ham and Bournemouth swap places in the relegation zone? What should you be watching out for? It’s the Spread Bets of the Day! 1. West Ham v Chelsea – Christian Pulisic PGM, 19-22The Hammers are in danger – can they get a much-needed win when they host Chelsea, at 8.15pm on Sky Sports Premier League? If West Ham fail to beat the Blues, and Bournemouth pick up all 3 points against Newcastle, the London club will find themselves in the relegation zone with only 6 games to get back out again. As for Chelsea, dependent on what happens between Everton and Leicester, they could well end the night in 3rd place. Christian Pulisic has been integral to the club’s post-lockdown victories, scoring the equaliser at Aston Villa and the opener against Man City. Will he make it 3 league games in a row? The American sits at a Player Goal Minutes spread of 19-22, though he did limp off against Leicester at the weekend. 2. Everton v Leicester – Jamie Vardy SMM, 31-37Beaten by the Chelsea in the FA Cup, and with just one point separating them in the league, Leicester really need a win at Everton if they are to keep hold of 3rd place. The Foxes make the trip north at 6pm on Sky Sports Main Event. Brendan Rodgers’s side aren’t just in danger of losing out on the bronze medal. At this rate, with just 3 league wins in 11 fixtures in 2020, they are putting their place in the Champions League at risk. The club, then, really needs Jamie Vardy to rediscover the blistering form that sees him still clinging onto this season’s Golden Boot. The forward has only 2 goals in 2020, and while some of that is down to injury, he has been firing blanks since the restart. He sits at a SMM spread of 31-37. 3. Bournemouth v Newcastle – Bournemouth/Newcastle Goal Supremacy, 0.1-0.3They may have lost 5 of their last 6 games, but Bournemouth could still escape the relegation zone with a win over Newcastle, at 6pm free on Pick TV. Even if West Ham do beat Chelsea, a victory over the Magpies would lift the Cherries into safety, while forcing Watford into the red. It’s been a mixed bag for Newcastle post-restart, with a thumping 3-0 win against Sheffield followed by a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa and a 2-0 FA Cup loss at home to City. The need for victory seems to have given the hosts the edge, at a Bournemouth/Newcastle Goal Supremacy spread of 0.1-03.4. Arsenal v Norwich – Total Goal Minutes, 150-160If Arsenal are to stand any chance of reaching Europe next season, a big win on Wednesday is a must. If Norwich are to avoid relegation, meanwhile, they need the exact same thing. The former host the latter at 6pm on BT Sport 1. After an embarrassing restart, with losses at City and Brighton, the Gunners have picked themselves up, beating Southampton 2-1 in the league and Sheffield 2-0 in the FA Cup. The Canaries, however, have lost all 3 of their fixtures.Norwich also have the 2nd worst defence in the league. With that in mind, Spreadex are offering a Total Goal Minutes spread of 150-160.5. Preston v Derby – Shirt Numbers, 55-59Both Preston and Derby are still chasing a place in the play-offs – they meet at 5pm on Sky Sports Football. Victory for either side would leave them in 7th place, just one point behind Cardiff. Derby seem better positioned to do so; they’ve won both games since the restart, while their hosts have one point in their last 5 games. If Derby do win, it might be worth keeping an eye on a Shirt Numbers spread of 55-59, given that penalty take Wayne Rooney wears no. 32, recent hat-trick scorer Louie Sibley wears no. 40, and forward Chris Martin wears no. 19. For Preston, their top scorers Daniel Johnson and Tom Barkhuizen wear no. 11 and no. 29 respectively. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
