Spread Bets Of The Day
What should you be watching out for when La Liga returns on Thursday night? Spreadex have rounded up the Spread Bets of the Weekend! 1. Sevilla v Real Betis – Lucas Ocampos SMM, 24-29The last time Sevilla finished in the top 3 was 2008/09. They are chasing that feat once again this season – though they face a fight for the bronze medal. Julien Lopetegui’s side are on 47 points, with Real Sociedad and Getafe then on 46, and Atletico on 45. Real Betis, meanwhile, are all the way down in 12th place, effectively safe from relegation by well off anything better than that. Lucas Ocampos has been the main target man for Sevilla, with 10 goals in the league – including the opener last time the sides met – and sits at a SMM spread of 24-29. 2. Valencia v Levante – Valencia/Levante Goal Supremacy, 0.7-0.9Outsiders for a spot in Europe next season, Valencia are in 7th place, 3 points adrift of Atletico in 6th. They weren’t at their best before the break. In their last 5 games they only managed a win against Real Betis, drawing against Atletico and Alaves, and losing 3-0 on the road to Europe-rivals Getafe and Real Sociedad. Levante shouldn’t post too much of a threat, however – they’ve only won twice away from home all season, and lost to Valencia 4-2 in December. Spreadex are offering a Valencia/Levante Goal Supremacy spread of 0.7-0.9. 3. Mallorca v Barcelona – Total Goals, 3.3-3.5It is maybe one of the easiest re-entries available for league-leaders Barcelona, and a bit of a nightmare for their hosts Mallorca. Despite losing their penultimate pre-lockdown match to Real Madrid, Barca are still in 1st place, 2 points ahead of their storied rivals. Mallorca, meanwhile, are in 18th place on 25 points, still with a chance of saving themselves from relegation. They may have to wait to get more points on the board, however. Barca beat them 5-2 back in December, meaning a Total Goals spread of 3.3-3.5 might be attractive ahead of Saturday’s fixture. 4. Athletic Bilbao v Atletico Madrid – Match to be drawn, 31.2-35.8Atletico have drawn 12 games in 25 this season – in 2020 alone, they’ve picked up a solitary point in 4 of their 9 fixtures. Athletic Bilbao haven’t been much better, drawing 10, winning 9 and losing 8. They were on an atrocious run as 2019 turned into 2020, going winless for 10 games, following a run of 5 consecutive draws with 4 consecutive losses. However, just before the break Bilbo had picked up wins over Villarreal and Real Valladolid; the same can’t be said for Atletico, who drew against Espanyol and Sevilla. With all that in mind, Spreadex are offering a Match to be drawn binary spread of 31.2-35.8. 5. Real Madrid v Eibar – Real Madrid/Eibar Goal Supremacy, 1.8-2El Clasico victory aside, Real Madrid weren’t in the best form before the unplanned break. A draw against Celta Vigo and defeats at Levante and Real Betis ensured they couldn’t capitalise on beating Barcelona, keeping them 2 points off the league leaders. Sunday’s visit from Eibar could be a chance to course correct. The visitors have lost 4 of their last 5 La Liga games, and were hammered 4-0 at home by Real in November. A similar scoreline would be needed to make any money from a Real Madrid/Eibar Goal Supremacy spread of 1.8-2
