Spread Bets Of The Day
A behind closed doors affair for Man United, a visit from Leverkusen for Rangers and the 2020 Stayers’ Hurdle – it’s the Spread Bets of the Day! 1. LASK v Man United – Odion Ighalo SMM, 27-32After a terrible start to the New Year, Man United have entered a nice little run of form, unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions. That period includes 6-0 and 3-0 wins over Tranmere and Derby in the FA Cup, a league victory at Chelsea, a pair of wins against Man City, and a 6-1 on aggregate hammering of Club Brugge in the Europa League. However their Austrian hosts aren’t doing too badly themselves. They’re top of the league domestically, and in Europe have beaten the likes of PSV Eindhoven, Sporting Lisbon and AZ. One man looking to continue to prove the doubters wrong will be Odion Ighalo. Eyebrows were raised when Solskjaer signed the Nigerian in January. However, he’s already scored 3 goals for the club, and heads into Thursday’s behind closed doors fixture at a SMM spread of 27-32. 2. Rangers v Bayer Leverkusen – Leverkusen/Rangers (h) Goal Supremacy, 0.3-0.5Stevie G’s Gers aren’t doing too well at the moment. Since 2020 began they’ve only won 4 out of 9 league games – allowing Celtic to open up a 13 point lead at the top of the Premiership – while they suffered a Scottish Cup quarter-final exit at the hands of Hearts. The bright spot has been the Europa League. A thrilling comeback in the 1st leg against Braga saw them win 3-2, before securing a spot in the last-16 with a 1-0 win in Portugal. Their opponents, Bayer Leverkusen, also bested Portuguese competition in the last round, beating Porto 5-2 on aggregate. And with a 5 game unbeaten streak in the Bundesliga, the visitors are favourites going into Thursday, at a Leverkusen/Rangers (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.3-0.5. 3. Cheltenham Festival 2020 Stayers’ Hurdle – Paisley Park Race Index, 34-37Heading into the Stayers’ Hurdle, 2019 winner Paisley Park is the clear favourite, odds on at 4/6 with a 50-30-20-10 Race Index spread of 34-37. Yet we have seen a few heavy favourites fail to show up at Cheltenham this year – just look at Defi De Seuil in the Queen Mother Champion Chase on Wednesday. If you think Paisley Park will cling onto its crown, buy at 37 – if it wins, you’d make 13 times your initial stake. If you think it will be pipped at the post, however, then sell at 34 – that could make you as much as 34 times your original bet, if the horse fails to place.
