Spread Bets Of The Day
A Mourinho-tinged London derby, an in-flux match-up for Arsenal and Everton, and a top tier clash between Man City and Leicester – it’s the Spread Bets of the Weekend! 1. Tottenham v Chelsea – Bookings, 48-52He’s already lost at Man United, a year on from being fired. How will Jose Mourinho cope with a visit from the club where he enjoyed the best of times, and the worst of times? Spurs have been solid under Mourinho, if pretty ropey at the back, winning 5 in 7 since he took over. The Blues, meanwhile, are going through (another) rough patch in the league, following up their 6 game winning streak with 4 losses in 5 matches, the sole victory being a win over Aston Villa. The fact it is a London derby, with potentially serious implications for Europe, AND the added spice of Mourinho’s latest entanglement with Chelsea could make for a feisty affair. Spreadex are offering a Bookings spread of 48-52. 2. Everton v Arsenal – Everton/Arsenal Goal Supremacy, 0.1-0.3With both sides in flux, it is going to be fascinating to see how Saturday’s meeting between Everton and Arsenal pans out. Under the guidance of Duncan Ferguson – likely to be replaced by Carlo Ancelotti – the Toffees have seen an upswing, beating Chelsea 3-1, drawing 1-1 against United at Old Trafford, and only narrowly exiting the EFL Cup on penalties against Leicester. The same can’t be said for the Gunners under Freddie Ljungberg, winning just one game under the club legend. Given that he won’t be replaced by Mikel Arteta until after this weekend’s fixture, the hosts are arguably in a better place. That’s led why Spreadex are offering an Everton/Arsenal Goal Supremacy spread of 0.1-0.3. 3. Man City v Leicester – Jamie Vardy SMM, 24-29Considering Leicester are 10 points behind Liverpool, and City are a further 4 points off the Foxes, the result of Saturday’s clash could end up pushing the Reds closer to the title. If Brendan Rodgers’ side fail to win at the Etihad, it is hard to ever see them closing the gap. It should, at least, be a good game. Between them they have scored 87 league goals this season, 16 of those belonging to Jamie Vardy. However, the English forward is only at a SMM spread of 24-29, compared to Sergio Aguero at 57-67 and Gabriel Jesus at 56-66. 4. Watford v Man United – Watford to win match, 21-23.9Watford are probably already relegated. Yet they would take the first step towards attempting a great escape by beating Man United on Sunday. It’s unlikely, but not impossible. Though they lost 2-0 to Liverpool, the Reds rode their luck. And United have conceded in all bar 2 of their 17 league games this season. Do the Hornets have any sting left? Spreadex are offering a Watford to win match binary of 21-23.9, making up to 100 if they are victorious and 0 if they aren’t. 5. Middlesbrough v Stoke – Stoke/Middlesbrough (h), 0-0.2In a battle at the bottom, 22nd place Stoke could swap places with 20th place Middlesbrough with a win on Friday night. The Potters have rebounded a bit in recent weeks, with a win over Luton and draw against Reading. Boro’s latest result was a loss at Swansea. That’s led to a very sleight Stoke/Middlesbrough (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0-0.2. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
