Spread Bets Of The Day
Another batch of EFL Cup fixtures, and England’s next Rugby World Cup challenge, make our Spread Bets of the Day. But what should you be paying attention to? 1. MK Dons vs Liverpool – Rhian Brewster SMM, 53-61Though their loss in Napoli prevents them from having a perfect scorecard overall, Liverpool still have a 100% record domestically. That is unlikely to change on Wednesday night, when they travel to MK Dons. The game should be notable for finally seeing the senior debut of Rhian Brewster. The 19-year old – who was the top scorer during England’s successful Under-17 World Cup campaign in 2017 – will want to make an explosive first impression, and sits at a SMM spread of 53-61. 2. England vs United States – England/United States Points Supremacy, 33-36It says something about the pre-match expectations that England’s 35-3 win over Tonga was seen as a tad disappointing. Eddie Jones has made 10 chances to his opening side in order to deal with the quick turnaround, though Billy Vunipola remains in the starting XV to play his 11th consecutive international Test. Those changes probably won’t impact the result, with Spreadex offering an England/United States Points Supremacy spread of 33-36. 3. Chelsea vs Grimsby – Total Goals, 3.7-3.9It has been a bad 7 days for Frank Lampard’s Chelsea. A loss against Valencia was a less than ideal start to their return to the Champions League; a 2-1 defeat at Anfield another blow to their league hopes. Anything other than a resounding win against Grimsby, then, is unthinkable. With that in mind they’ll be hoping the Total Goals spread of 3.7-3.9 is leaning in their direction. 4. Man United vs Rochdale – Rochdale to win match, 1.2-5.3In a pretty lifeless performance, Man United lost their first post-Europa League fixture 2-0 at West Ham. Could an even bigger shock happen on Wednesday? It’s a long shot – Rochdale are at a binary to win match spread of 1.2-5.3. 5. Italy vs Canada – Try Rush, 80-92Italy hold the honour of winning the highest scoring game in the 2019 Rugby World Cup so far, their 47-22 victory over Namibia containing 10 tries total. If you think they can replicate that form against a yet-to-play Canada then take a look at the Try Rush spread of 80-92 – that’s where 1 try = 5 points, 2 = 10 points, 3 = 20, 4 = 33, 5 = 50, 6 = 70, 7 = 100, 8 = 130, 9 = 160 and 10 or more = 200.
