Spread Bets Of The Day
Are England deserved favourites for the Six Nations? And how fiery will things get between Man City and Tottenham? It’s the Spread Bets of the Weekend! 1. France v England – England Six Nations Index, 44-47With Wales and Ireland under new management, a France that struggles against top sides, and Italy and Scotland ever unconvincing challengers, England are the clear frontrunners for the 2020 Six Nations. And that’s before even factoring the country’s run to the Rugby World Cup final, one that included victories over Australia and New Zealand (before, yes, their defeat at the hands of South Africa). Ahead of Sunday’s trip to Paris – in, funnily enough, a fixture that was cancelled in Japan due to Typhoon Hagibis – England sit atop the Six Nations Index at 44-47, where the winner gets 60 points and the runner up 40 etc. As for fixed odds, they are at odds on favourites at 8/11. 2. Leicester v Chelsea – Jamie Vardy SMM, 37-43Though he is, narrowly, still the Premier League’s top scorer on 17 goals, Jamie Vardy isn’t have the best 2020. He is yet to score this year, due to a mixture of a drop in form and a knock against West Ham that he hasn’t fully recovered from. The 33-year old came off the bench during Leicester’s mid-week EFL Cup loss to Aston Villa, but should feature from the start against Chelsea on Saturday. And despite his recent drought, he still sits at a fairly chunky SMM spread of 37-43. 3. Tottenham v Man City – Bookings, 46-50Jose Mourinho could do without this visit from Man City. Tottenham have only won twice in 2020, against Norwich in the league and a FA Cup 3rd round replay against Middlesbrough. They struggled since Harry Kane’s injury on January 1st, looking very weak in front of goal. City, meanwhile, may have lost to Man United mid-week, but they’re unbeaten in their last 5 league games, and have breezed through the FA Cup. Despite their last meeting – a 2-2 draw all the way back in August – only seeing one yellow, Sunday’s headliner could be a spicier affair. Hence Spreadex offering a Bookings spread of 46-50. 4. Wales v Italy – Josh Adams SMM, 71-77The top scorer at the 2019 World Cup, it makes sense that Josh Adams would be favourite to do the same at the Six Nations, sitting at a fixed odds price of 7/2. It also means he goes into Saturday’s competition curtain raisers against Wales at a rather robust SMM spread of 71-77. 5. Sofia Kenin v Garbine Muguruza – Muguruza/Kenin Match Supremacy, 2.5-5.5In a rather unexpected Australian Open final, Sofia Kenin takes on Garbine Muguruza. Despite Kenin being the only seeded player of the 2, it is Muguruza – who has won at the French Open and Wimbledon in the past – that heads into Saturday with the advantage. She sits at a Muruguza/Kenin Match Supremacy spread of 2.5-5.5, where the winner gets 10 points plus 5 points per set won by. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change
