Spread Bets Of The Day

Monday & Tuesday's Big Winning Bet's

The managerial merry-go-round has been in full swing over the last week with Graham Potter and Brendan Rodgers both getting the chop. Another former Swansea manager in Steve Cooper also appears to be on borrowed time at Forest after his side’s dismal away record continued with a 2-1 defeat against Leeds last night.

There has also been action on the continent and over in India, the IPL has got underway with Chennai’s thriller against Lucknow featuring in our big winners round-up.

Please remember that unlike fixed odds betting, when spread betting losses can exceed deposits.

BAYERN MUNICH v FREIBURG – PENALTY GOAL MINUTES (SETTLED AT 90)

For the third time in succession, Bayern Munich have failed to reach the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal after they were dumped out of the cup by Freiburg yesterday evening. Thomas Tuchel won his opening match in charge at the weekend when Bayern beat Dortmund 4-2 and they took the lead in this one in the 19th minute when Dayot Umapecano scored for the second game running.

However, their lead lasted just eight minutes before Nicolas Hoefler drew the visitor's level with a sublime strike from outside the box. It stayed like that until the 95th minute when Jamal Musiala was judged to have handled to ball in the area to give last year’s runners-up the chance to progress through to the semis and forward Lucas Höler duly slotted the spot kick.

It was a good night for the Breisgau Brazilians and a good night for those who bought Penalty Goal Minutes at 18-21 pre-match. The market settled at 90 earning those shrewd punters a win of 69x their stake.

EVERTON v TOTTENHAM – CROSS BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 1375)

The term ‘Spursy’ has slipped into regular usage this season and the side from the capital were at it again on Monday evening when they let a lead slip to draw with relegation-threatened Everton.

Abdoulaye Doucoure got himself sent off for foolishly putting his hand in the face of Harry Kane and ten minutes later the England captain put the visitors ahead from the spot. There were second-half bookings for Clement Lenglet, Cristian Romero (shock) and Kane himself as a fractious game headed towards its conclusion.

However, there was another twist in the tale when Lucas Moura was sent off for a nasty tackle on Michael Keane and two minutes later, Keane himself lashed in a stunning equaliser to send the home fans into raptures.

With Everton amassing 25 booking points and Spurs earning themselves 55, Cross-Bookings settled at 1375 against a pre-match spread of 490-570 as buyers won 805x their stake.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS v LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS – SIXES SQUARED (SETTLED AT 576)

The IPL is back with a bang and there was a super match on Monday as Chennai Super Kings beat Lucknow Super Giants by 12 runs in a high-scoring contest.

CSK batted first and put themselves in a great position as the opening partnership of Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad laid on an opening partnership of 110 runs. Runs were a touch scarcer after that but Ambati Rayudu added 27 from 14 deliveries and the evergreen MS Dhoni scored a quickfire 12 from four deliveries in an innings that saw CSK blast 13 sixes.

Lucknow scored runs quicker at the top of the order, but they lost more wickets earlier on and that lack of star quality in the tail showed as they fell short of the required total. They did manage to hit nine sixes, taking the match total to 22 with Sixes Squared settling at 484.

Before the match, the spread was 162-192 with buyers winning 292x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
