Weekend's Big Winning Bets 19.05.25

landing-page-weekend-190525

It was a great sporting weekend, with plenty of online betting action on the FA Cup final and PGA Championship as well as Premier League fixtures and the Lockinge Stakes from Newbury.

We have cast our eyes over the major events to find out where canny spread betting punters made hay.

Please remember Spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. They may not be suitable for everyone so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.

FA CUP FINAL – TOTAL GOAL MINUTES (SETTLED AT 16)

Crystal Palace secured their first ever major trophy in their history this weekend with a win over Manchester City and it was generally a good game for sellers on our football spread betting markets.

Unusually for a major final, the Total Goal Minutes line was higher than average at 141-151 before kick-off, but with Eberechi Eze scoring the only goal of the game in the 16th minute, it was sellers who were in clover.

Those who sold will also be thanking Dean Henderson who made some crucial saves in the Palace net, including Oscar Marmoush’s well-struck penalty. With the spread settling at 16, sellers landed a win of 125x their stake.

PGA CHAMPIONSHIP – HOLE IN ONE YARDAGE (SETTLED AT 433)

Scottie Scheffler is the toast of the golfing world once again having won his third major championship. However, golf spread betting punters who bought our tournament long Hole In One Yardage spread will be raising a glass to the slightly less heralded Eric Cole and Si Woo Kim.

Before play began on Thursday, the spread was 125-155, but with the world number 63 Cole sinking one from 184 yards at the fourth on the opening day, buyers were already in the money.

Another hole in one would have boosted profits significantly, and Kim duly obliged as he knocked one in from 249 yards on the par-3 sixth on Friday. It was Kim’s second ace in a major and it was also the longest ever recorded in major history. With the spread settling at 433, buyers on our Hole In One Yardage spread holed out with a win of 278x their stake.

WAKEFIELD TRINITY v WARRINGTON WOLVES – WAKEFIELD MULTI-POINTS (SETTLED AT 396)

A Mason Lino-inspired Wakefield Trinity eased past Warrington Wolves yesterday in superb style to record their first consecutive win of the Super League season.

Two tries from prop forward Caius Faatili in the opening ten minutes put the West Yorkshire side on the path to victory and they never looked back. Challenge Cup finalists Warrington trailed 18-10 at the break, and they had no answer for the Trinity onslaught in the second half, with the hosts running out 40-10 winners.

With Wakefield scoring 18 points in the first 40 and 22 points in the second half, Wakefield Multi-Points settled at 396. Before kick-off at Belle Vue, the spread was 95-110, but a super win for Trin left buyers collecting 286x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
