Daily Spread Betting Round-up
The Bundesliga returned at the weekend, with most teams pretty much picking up where they left off before the season came to a halt in March. But how much could you have won? Dortmund dominate Revierderby – Borussia Dortmund v SchalkeIn the most dominant display of the weekend, Borussia Dortmund hammered their Revierderby rivals Schalke 4-0 on Saturday afternoon. Continuing to signal that he is the best young talent in Europe, Erling Braut Haaland got his 10th Bundesliga goal in 9 appearances – and 13th goal for Dortmund in 12 games total – as he opened scoring in the 29th minute. That actually meant, however, you needed to sell his PGM spread of 40-44 to make 11 times your initial stake. Better was backing Raphael Guerreiro, whose brace sat either side of Thorgan Hazard’s goal early in the 2nd half. Buy a Guerreiro PGM spread of 13-17 and a make-up of 171 left you with 154 times your original bet. As for the fixture overall, buying a Dortmund/Schalke Goal Supremacy spread of 1-1.2 gave you 2.8 times your opening wager. Monchengladbach up to 3rd – Eintracht Frankfurt v Borussia MonchengladbachWith RB Leipzig held to a 1-1 draw against Freiburg, Borussia Monchengladbach’s 3-1 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt lifted them into 3rd place, 6 points off 1st place Bayern. Die Fohlen were incredibly quick off the mark, with Alassane Plea scoring within a minute. Sell a 1st Match Goal spread of 33-36, and that’s a swift 32 times your initial stake. They didn’t have to wait long to double their lead, with Marcus Thurdam finding the back of the net in the 7th minute. Sell a 2nd Match Goal spread of 57.5-60.5, then, and that’s 50.5 times your original wager. Bayern breeze past Berlin – Union Berlin v Bayern MunichThough Bayern strolled to an easy 2-0 win over Union Berlin on Sunday, restoring their 4 point lead at the top, they didn’t blow their hosts away as expected. For example, you needed to sell a Total Goals spread of 3.65-3.85 to make 1.65 times your initial stake. You also needed to sell a Robert Lewandowski PGM spread of 55-59 to make 15 times your opening bet following his 40th minute penalty. If you’d backed a Penalty Goal Minutes spread of 17-20, however, you could’ve won 20 times your stake. The savviest betters perhaps bought a Benjamin Pavard PGM spread of 3-6. The French defender’s 80th minute goal left them with 74 times their original wager.
