Daily Spread Betting Round-up
There has been plenty of sporting action to enjoy this week and we take you on a journey from rural Northern Ireland to Moldova via a stop in South London in this week’s big winners blog.
Please remember Spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. They may not be suitable for everyone so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.
LARNE v DUNGANNON SWIFTS – TOTAL GOAL MINUTES (SETTLED AT 534)
Whilst the return of the EFL and Scottish football took centre stage last weekend, it was also the first round of the NIFL Premiership and the final match on Monday between Larne and Dungannon Swifts was a corker.
Those who tuned in to the match on Sky Sports or were amongst the 2,176 in Inver Park would have seen Larne cruise into a 4-1 with Andy Ryan and Lee Bonis scoring in the 77th and 80th minute to seemingly put the game beyond the reach of the visitors. However, Dungannon had other ideas and goals from Ben Gallagher and Tomas Galvin gave them hope before Andrew Whiteside bagged an equaliser in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
With so many late goals it was a great day to be a buyer on Total Goal Minutes at 163-178 saw the market settle at 534 as they won 356x their stake.
OVAL INVINCIBLES v MANCHESTER ORIGINALS – MAN/OVA SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT -94)
The Hundred continues apace and whilst it is certainly not everyone’s cup of tea, plenty of punters have been enjoying playing our spread betting markets on the tournament so far. Few have enjoyed it more than Supremacy sellers on Oval Invincibles’ clash with Manchester Originals on Wednesday which saw the hosts win by 94 runs.
In front of their home fans, the Invincibles bludgeoned their way to a score of 185 from their allotted deliveries which was always going to be a tall order to chase down. Manchester were favoured on the Supremacy spread before the match at 15-23, but they failed to make much of a dent in the Invincibles’ score as they fell to a score of 92 all out.
A 94 run win for the hosts left the market to settle at -94 as sellers won 109x their stake.
SHERIFF TIRASPOL v BATE BORISOV – SHIRT NUMBERS (SETTLED AT 273)
The race to make the Europa League groups stepped up a notch this week with the next round of qualifiers featuring a real mix of sides. If there is one thing that continental sides do well, it is having a striker wearing shirt number 99 with Genk, Zrinjski Mostar, Dnipro, Zalgiris, Ludogorets, Sheriff Tiraspol and BATE Borisov all naming one in their matchday squads this week.
There were plenty of chances for Shirt Numbers buyers to get amongst the profit if they could land on the right game and those who selected Sheriff Tiraspol’s match with BATE Borisov. With a spread of 66-70 before the match, buyers were sat with a profit of 5x their stake before Momo Yansane - wearing shirt number 99 – stepped off the bench to bag two injury time goals as Sheriff ran out 5-1 winners.
Those late strikes meant the spread settled at 273 as buyers landed a win of 203x their stake.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
