Daily Spread Betting Round-up
England’s 150th anniversary clash with Scotland proved to be a feisty affair last night, whilst the Indian cricket side and Portuguese footballers doled out a pair of thrashings. All three matches feature in our big winning bets roundup.
With so much action taking place, we have sifted through the markets to find three big winning bets from the last few days.

PORTUGAL v LUXEMBOURG – GOALS CUBED (SETTLED AT 729)
Just over 15% of Luxembourg’s population are Portuguese so there will have been plenty of split loyalties in the duchy when the pair met on Monday evening. As it was, those of a Portuguese persuasion could sit back and celebrate as their side ran in nine unanswered goals.
It was Luxembourg’s joint biggest defeat in their history and the first time they had lost 9-0 since they played England in 1982. For those who had the foresight to get behind goals in this clash, there were some big payouts and buyers on Goals Cubed at 91-111 landed a touch. With nine goals scored the market settled at 729 and buyers won 618x their stake.
PAKISTAN v INDIA – IND/PAK SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT 228)
The last few weeks have seen the Asia Cup take place and if it is serving as a warm up to the World Cup in India, then the host nation have a lot to be excited about. The match was originally slated for Sunday, but torrential rain forced the use of the reserve day on Monday.
India batted first and set a target of 356 having only lost two wickets with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scoring 122 and 111 respectively after the two openers had both scored half centuries. In reply, Pakistan melted in the Sri Lankan heat and they could only muster 128 runs with Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah unable to bat through injury.
Before the match the Supremacy spread was set at 20-30 in India’s favour and with a 228 run victory for Rohit Sharma’s side, buyers won 198x their stake.
ENGLAND v SCOTLAND – TIME OF 1ST ENGLAND CORNER (SETTLED AT 3)
Scotland have been very impressive lately and confidence was not in short supply north of the border when England arrived in Glasgow. However, that faith was washed away by a clinical performance from the Three Lions who scored through Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham, and Harry Kane to return south with a 3-1 win.
The signs were there early on for Gareth Southgate’s side who forced a corner in the third minute through Kyle Walker, which was great news for sellers on the Time of 1st England Corner spread. Before kick-off this was 20-22 as sellers won 17x their stake.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
