Daily Spread Betting Round-up
While punters are looking slightly further afield for their wagers after the end of the European football season, there has still been plenty of profitable opportunities for savvy bettors, including international football friendlies, the NBA finals and grass-court tennis action.
Read on below to find out more about three of the most eye-catching spread betting wins from Monday and Tuesday.

GERMANY V UKRAINE – UKRAINE TGMs (SETTLED AT 97)
We start in Germany as Die Mannschaft took on Ukraine in a friendly on Monday evening, and it turned out to be a very lively encounter. The visiting side had legendary former striker Serhiy Rebrov in the dugout for his first match in charge of the team, and his charges managed to overcome the blow of conceding within six minutes as they turned the tide and took a 2-1 lead by minute 23.
Girona winger Viktor Tsygankov grabbed his second goal of the game midway through the second half to give the away side a seemingly comfortable 3-1 lead, but a late salvo by the Germans in the final ten minutes secured a hard-fought but exciting 3-3 draw after Joshua Kimmich’s last-gasp penalty. Interestingly, that was the very scoreline that occurred in the last friendly between the sides back in 2011 and was available pre-match on the fixed odds at 33/1!
For savvy buyers on the spread betting markets, buying Ukraine Total Goal Minutes at 41 - 49 saw them win a 48x return on their stake – back of the net!
DENVER NUGGETS V MIAMI HEAT – TOTAL POINTS (SETTLED AT 183)
In the deciding match of the NBA Finals, it was the Denver Nuggets who came out victorious against the Miami Heat with a 94 – 89 victory, secured by winning the final two quarters. Nikola Jokic played an instrumental role in the success with 28 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists, while Jimmy Butler and Miami will be licking their wounds and wondering what might have been.
Interestingly, the final match of the series ended up being the lowest scoring, and as such for spread bettors, the Total Points market proved profitable for those electing to sell as a make-up of just 183 meant selling at 207 – 210 left punters with a 34x return on their opening stake.
MOUTET V KARATSEV – TOTAL POINTS (SETTLED AT 270)
And finally, over in Nottingham at the grass-court tennis challenger tournament, there was a marathon three-setter as Corentin Moutet took on Aslan Karatsev. While neither player is particularly renowned for their grass-court prowess or big serving, they very nearly produced a triple-tie-break match. However, that particular outcome did not take place as Karatsev secured a last-gasp break of serve to win 7-6 6-7 7-5.
For those predicting a long match, plenty of profit was to be had. With a pre-match Total Points spread of 149 – 154 and a make-up of 270, buyers on the market were left with an Ace return of 116x their opening stake!
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
