Big Sam’s return to football or Erling Haaland breaking the record for most goals scored in a Premier League season but what about two Swedish sides winning 6-0 during the week? Or the German referee who showed 11 cards in a cup semi-final this week? Well if you happen to have missed these headlines, then don’t worry as we have you covered in Wednesday and Thursday’s Big Winning Bets.

PREMIER LEAGUE WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY GROUP – CROSS-GOALS (SETTLED AT 0)

Three matches were spread across the Premier League over the last two days and all of them went the way of the home side with Manchester City, Liverpool, and Brighton all getting three points on the board.

Liverpool squeezed past Fulham courtesy of a Mo Salah penalty whilst City were made to work hard for 50 minutes of their 3-0 win over West Ham at the Etihad. Last night it looked as though Brighton and Manchester United were once again heading for a 0-0 draw but a penalty at the death for the Seagulls lifted the south coast side up to sixth in the league.

There were a couple of good angles for sellers during the week but Cross-Goals across the three matches paid dividends for those who sold at 20-23. Despite the respective hosts scoring five goals between them, no reply from those on the road left this market to settle at zero as sellers made 20x their stake.

GOTHENBURG v DEGERFORS – GOT/DEG SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT 6)

Gothenburg, or IFK Goteborg if you can muddle through a Scandi Noir drama without the subtitles, are one of the most storied teams in Swedish football and they got their first win of the season last night in emphatic style.

Twice Uefa Cup champions in the 1980s, The Angels had endured a tough start to the season, but they were favoured on the Supremacy spread last night against Degerfors at 0.45-0.65, with buyers certainly getting more than they bargained for.

Oscar Wendt and Marcus Berg are probably the two most recognisable names in the Gothenburg squad (unless you support Gillingham or Doncaster in which case that honour goes to keeper Pontus Dahlberg) and both got themselves on the scoresheet in a resounding 6-0 win. Such a crushing margin of victory left the Supremacy spread to settle at 6 as buyers won 5.35x their stake.

Malmo were also 6-0 winners in the Allsvenskan during the week, but Supremacy buyers came away with a lower win of 3.6x their stake.

STUTTGART v EINTRACHT FRANKFURT – MULTI-BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 3000)

After Leipzig booked their place in the final of the DFB Pokal on Tuesday it was the turn of Stuttgart and Frankfurt on Wednesday evening with the pair serving up a thriller at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

The hosts went 1-0 up before second half goals from Evan Ndicka, Daichi Kamada, and Randal Kolo Muani put Eintracht 3-1 up with 13 minutes to go. Stuttgart did manage to pull one back, but they were unable to force extra time with Frankfurt looking to emulate their 2018 success when they defeated Bayern in the final.

Both keepers were in for a busy night, but so was the referee who booked eight players in addition to sending Stuttgart’s Borna Sosa off for two yellow cards. With 40 booking points in the first half and 75 in the second, Multi-Bookings settled at 3000 meaning those who bought at 455-555 won a whopping 2445x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
