However, that disappointment was put behind them just minutes later as the net did finally bulge and the result was ultimately decided.

Buttler is awaiting the results of a scan on his calf and while he has not been ruled out of the tournament as of yet, he did miss out here and his side slumped to 4-3 and 37-7 before posting a lowly 86-8.

SEBASTIAN BAEZ v HUGO GASTON - TOTAL POINTS (SETTLED AT 276)

And finally, the tennis action from the ATP tournament on the clay in Kitzbuhel, Austria as a mercurial match-up between Argentina's Sebastian Baez and Frenchman Hugo Gaston resulted in a marathon 3hr 10min encounter in which Gaston saved match points on his way to a final set tie-break win.

With all three sets featuring at least 12 games, Baez and Gaston shared 7-5 scorelines in the opening two stanzas before a third set featuring no breaks of serve was won in dramatic fashion by Gaston winning four consecutive points in the tie-break.

For punters who envisaged a long match and placed a buy bet on the Total Points market at an opening spread of 145 - 150, a big settlement of 276 yielded an ace return of 126x for successful buy trades.
