DJOKOVIC V ALCARAZ – SET 2 CROSS POINTS (SETTLED AT 2244)
First of all, we head to the main event of the weekend where a young Spaniard in Carlos Alcaraz looked to end a run of four straight wins for arguably the greatest tennis player of all time Novak Djokovic.
The Serb, who was the bookies favourite before start of play, took the first set in dominant fashion 6-1 before a much tighter second set levelled the game for Alcaraz. The Spaniard then had the momentum and took the third set 6-1 to lead the match 2-1.
Djokovic then levelled the match 2-2 to set up a deciding set which Alcaraz won 6-4 to become Wimbledon’s third youngest male champion retaining his world number one spot.
With the second set being extremely tightly contested the Cross Points market made up at 2244. With a pre-match spread of 1020-1095 offered, punters who decided to buy won 1149x their stake!
ENGLAND WOMEN V AUSTRALIA WOMEN – LAUNCH! (SETTLED AT 2886)

England then entered the crease and got off to a great start however scoring slowed down near the back end of the innings resulting in England falling to a three-run defeat.
With Australia hitting a massive 26 off their final over and Nat Sciver-Brunt top scoring In the match with 111 the Launch market made up at 2886 (26 x 111 = 2886). With a pre-match spread of 1525-1625 offered, punters who decided to buy won 1261x their stake!
SCOTTISH OPEN – MCILROY OUTRIGHT WINNER (SETTLED AT 100)
Finally, we head to the Renaissance Club for the Scottish Open where some of the world’s best golfers went head-to-head to try and win the famous championship.
Although having a mid-final round wobble Rory McIlroy sensationally won the Scottish Open on Sunday afternoon as he birdied four of his final eight holes to snatch victory from Robert MacIntyre. This was McIlroy’s second win of the year and first since his win at the Hero Dubai Classic in February.
Before the start of play punters were offered a spread of 4.3-10 on McIlroy to win the tournament meaning that if punters decided to buy they won 90x their stake!
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
