Daily Spread Betting Round-up
After another weekend of top class sports and a multitude of dramatic action, as always in our daily betting blog we run through the big spread betting winners from the weekend!
Some of the key action came from weekend football including a vital win for Arsenal in the North London derby, Rafael Nadal grabbed a thrilling revenge win at the Madrid Masters in the tennis and Will Jacks produced a stellar IPL display for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Here we run through some of those big winning spread bets.
Please remember Spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. They may not be suitable for everyone so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.
We start with the football betting action and the Premier League where the title race battle continued for Man City and Arsenal. The Gunners faced a crucial and predictably tricky trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to face their bitter North London rivals, and Mikel Arteta's men left with all three points after a hard-fought 3-2 victory.
While the Gunners were the better side for much of the early going and raced into a three goal lead, the win was in serious jeopardy by the final whistle as goals from Cristian Romero and Son Heung-Min narrowed the deficit to just one goal.
For football spread bettors who envisaged a goal-fest and a high amount of corner kicks, buying on the TGM x Corners market proved very profitable. With the starting spread at 1,775 - 1,950, a make-up of 3,234 resulted in a big winning buy bet of 1,284x their stake!

Next we move to the tennis action and it was a swift revenge for the returning Rafael Nadal as the legendary Spaniard overcame Australia's Alex de Minaur - who had defeated Nadal in Barcelona a week prior - at the Madrid Masters.
Question marks over the form, fitness and age of Nadal refuse to go away and it remains to be seen if his body can hold up for another tilt at the French Open or Olympics before he calls time on his stellar career, but there were certainly welcome signs here as he showed huge improvements in a short time to defeat a player he had just been defeated by so recently.
After a tightly-contested first set full of excitement that was secured by Nadal in a tie-break, the second was more comfortable and the home hero powered through to a 7-6 6-3 victory.
Nadal has very seldom been an underdog on clay in his entire career, so spread betting punters who placed a sell bet on the Match Supremacy market at an opening spread at 2.5 - 5.5 saw a make-up of -20 and a return of 22.5x their stake.
If you like to bet on tennis but want to know more about s then we have all the information you need, including our bet calculator with which you can calculate potential spread betting winnings or losses.
And finally, we finish with the cricket action from the IPL as England all-rounder Will Jacks smashed an unbeaten century off just 41 balls to help his Royal Challengers Bangalore side beat the Gujarat Titans by nine wickets.
With his team chasing 201 for victory, Jacks produced ten sixes and five fours in a display of awesome batting. Jacks hammered 28 runs off one Rashid Khan over, including four sixes, and shared an unbeaten 166-run stand with Virat Kohli.
In terms of spread betting, punters who decided to place a buy bet on our Multi-Sixes market made good profit. With the starting spread at 67 - 77, a final make-up of 160 meant a return of 83x their opening stake!
For those of you who need a tune up on our cricket spread betting markets, we have a handy guide for punters.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
