Daily Spread Betting Round-up

Weekend's Big Winning Bets 30.06.25

landing-page-weekend-300625

There was plenty of online betting action over a weekend which saw England Under 21s reclaim their European Championship trophy, Lambourn land the Irish Derby, and the Lions get a win under their belts down in Australia.

Elsewhere, there were plenty of storylines and we have three examples from the weekend where our canny spread betting punters came out on top.

Please remember Spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit. They may not be suitable for everyone so please ensure you fully understand the risks involved.

BENFICA v CHELSEA – EXTRA TIME TOTAL GOAL MINUTES (SETTLED AT 339)

Chelsea advanced to the quarter finals of the Club World Cup after three goals in extra time saw them run out 4-1 winners.

The Blues had been easing towards a regulation 1-0 win until thunderstorms saw the players brought off for two hours in the 85th minute. After the break, Benfica scored with their first shot on target as Angel di Maria scored from the spot in his final match for the Portuguese giants.

However, extra time goals from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Christopher Nkunku, and Pedro Neto ensured the Londoners progressed to the last eight. They also landed a big winning punt for football spread betting punters on our Extra Time Total Goal Minutes spread. At the end of 90 minutes, this was available to trade at 24-32, but three goals in the additional half hour saw the spread settle at 339 as buyers won 307x their stake.

LEEDS RHINOS v LEIGH LEOPARDS – CONVERSIONS CUBED (SETTLED AT 1331)

Fourth hosted third in the Super League on Friday night as Leigh travelled to Headingley, and although only one point separated them in the league beforehand, it was Leeds who ran out comprehensive winners.

A 48-30 win for the Rhinos may have had both defence coaches watching through their fingers, but it was a good match for buyers on most of our rugby league spread betting markets.

With so many tries scored, buyers on Conversions Cubed at 148-180 were always likely to be onto a winner, but their help came from an unlikely source. Jake Connor has been brilliant for Leeds this year, but goal-kicking is certainly not one of his strengths with his success rate sitting below 70% before kick-off. However, the former Huddersfield man nailed all eight of his conversions and with Leigh kicking three of theirs, Conversions Cubed settled at 1331.

This left buyers collecting a big win of 1151x their stake.

ENGLAND WOMEN v INDIA WOMEN – ENG/IND SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT -97)

With England recording a stunning victory over India in the recent men’s Test, it was over to the women’s side who kicked off their five-match T20 series with India on Saturday.

However, things did not go to plan for the hosts who succumbed to a 97-run defeat, their worst ever in the T20 format. Batting first and led by century-making captain Smriti Mandhana, the tourists racked up a score of 210-5 and England had no response at Trent Bridge.

Were it not for Nat Sciver-Brunt’s knock of 66, things could have been even worse for an England side who were all out in the 15th over. Before the match, England were actually the favourites on the Supremacy spread which was 29-37 before play in Nottingham.

A crushing Indian victory by 97 runs meant the Supremacy settled at -97 with cricket spread betting punters who sold and sided with India racking up a big winning bet of 126x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
