In a game that kicks off a rather tough November run for the Gunners, Sunday sees Arsenal host Tottenham at 12pm on BT Sport 1. Since losing to Liverpool in their opening day match Arsenal haven’t lost a game, most recently pulling back from 2-0 down against Ludogorets to nab a last minute win thanks to a sublime bit of skill from Mesut Ozil. He was joined on Tuesday’s score sheet by Granit Xhaka and Olivier Giroud, the latter of which now has 3 goals in 2 games since returning from injury and will be aiming to challenge Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez for a starting place in the next few weeks. Spurs, meanwhile, have their own unbeaten run to protect; they are the only side yet to lose a league game, a feat that admittedly becomes slightly less impressive given that a) half of their 10 games have been drawn and b) in October they won just 1 of their 7 games in all competitions. This downturn in form is largely due to Tottenham’s drought up front; with Harry Kane injured Son Heung-Min and Vincent Janssen have failed to rise to the occasion. With that in mind our traders fancy a home win, Spreadex offering an Arsenal/Tottenham Goal Supremacy spread of 0.45-0.65 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.7-2.9. Beyond the first North London derby there are a few key clashes for those sides firmly in the title race. First up on Saturday Chelsea will be looking to maintain their recent run of clean sheets when they face Everton at 5.30pm on BT Sport 1. The Blues haven’t conceded in their last 4 league games, all the while scoring an impressive 13 goals. Diego Costa has been integral to this run and, at a Super Mega PGM of 46-53, is the Premier League’s top scorer with 8 goals. Everton, meanwhile, will be hoping that their 2-0 win over West Ham last weekend will have got them back on track after a rocky run between the end of September and the end of October. They also have their own in-form forward, Romelu Lukaku’s 7 goals leaving him with a Super Mega PGM of 22-27. Given their fairly flawless run in the last few weeks, however, it is hard to look beyond Antonio Conte and co., Spreadex offering a Chelsea/Everton Goal Supremacy spread of 1-1.2 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.8-3. Sunday then sees Liverpool try and maintain their top of the table push when they host Watford at 2.15pm on Sky Sports 1. Like Arsenal the Reds have just lost one game in all competitions so far this season, leaving them on the same 23 points as the Gunners and Man City. And like their potential title rivals Liverpool have found a lot of success going forwards; both Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino are on 5 goals apiece, and sit at Super Mega PGMs of 32-38 and 38-44 respectively, while Daniel Sturridge and Sadio Mane, at 52-60 and 43-50, both have 4. While nothing compared to the Reds’ run, Watford have performed well in the last few weeks; add to that their big wins over West Ham and Manchester United and Liverpool would do well not to underestimate Walter Mazzarri’s side. However, the Hornets likely aren’t the kind of competition that are going to bring Reds’ run to the end, with Spreadex offering a Liverpool/Watford Goal Supremacy spread of 1.7-1.9 alongside a Total Goals spread of 3.05-3.25.Finally, Leicester will be looking for lift off when they face West Brom at 4.30pm on Sky Sports 1. While the last 2 games have seen a definite improvement in the Foxes’ fortunes, they are still sitting in 11th place without a hope in hell of defending their title. In Europe, however, they are tantalisingly close to reaching the Champions League knockouts, a recent draw in Copenhagen seeing them at the top of Group G 3 points above Porto. As for West Brom, they are perilously close to being dragged into the relegation battle, the Baggies just 3 points above 18th place Hull. They haven’t won a game since the middle of September, with draws against Stoke, Sunderland and Spurs followed by defeats to Liverpool and Man City. Sadly for Tony Pulis that run looks set to continue, with Spreadex offering a Leicester/West Brom Goal Supremacy spread of 0.65-0.85 alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.3-2.5.
