There’s not a lot at stake in Monday’s game, as Chelsea host Watford at 8pm on Sky Sports 1.

Crowned champions with last Friday’s win at West Brom, Chelsea have little to prove this evening; it’s not even their final game at Stamford Bridge this season, that honour going to a visit from bottom of the table Sunderland next weekend. However, Antonio Conte will want to end things on a bang, not a whimper, so Watford shouldn’t expect an easy ride.

It also provides the Italian manager with a chance to give a run out to some of his less-featured players. John Terry could make an appearance at the back, while Michy Batshuayi could well make his first ever Premier League start having scored the winner at the Hawthorns.

A win would propel them to 12th place, while the top 10 is still in reach dependent on what the likes of West Brom, Southampton and Leicester do in their final matches.

That is easier said than done; in 2017 Watford have won just 5 games, drawing 3 and losing the other 10, including the last 4 in a row.
