Liverpool head to Turkey knowing this is a crucial game for Galatasaray to kick start their Champions League campaign. The Reds can expect a hostile atmosphere. The two sides have faced each other four times in the past, with the last meeting in 2006 during the Champions League group stage. Galatasaray came out 3-2 winners in the fixture in Istanbul. Liverpool only have one win against Galatasaray in their history. Liverpool are 7/1 to win 2-1, while Galatasaray can be backed in our 2UP market (Payout when a side goes two goals up) at 29/10.

Spreadex’s sports spread betting markets are also available on the match. The Total Goals spread is 3.4 – 3.6. So if you thought there were going to be four goals or more in the match you would complete a ‘buy’ bet. If the match ended 2-3 a ‘buy’ bet would return 1.4 x your stake. However, a ‘buy’ bet and a result of 1-1 would return a loss of 1.6 x your stake.
Another available market is 1st Match Goal, the spread is 28-31. If you thought the first match goal was going to come before the 28th minute you would complete a ‘sell’ bet. If the first match goal came in the 21st minute, you would win 7 x your stake. However, a ‘sell’ bet would return a loss if the first goal came after the 28th minute. E.g. a first goal in the 33rd minute would lose 5x your stake.
