Spread Bets Of The Day
The start of the Rugby World Cup and the first post-Europe Premier League session both feature in the Spread Bets of the Day. But what should you be looking out for? 1. England vs Tonga – England/Tonga Point Supremacy, 44-48Eddie Jones and co. start their 2019 Rugby World Cup tackling Tonga in Sapporo, and they are heavy, heavy favourites. Currently 3rd favourites for the tournament as a whole with an Outright Index spread of 58-62, and at a Pool C Index spread of 43-46, England loom over their Sunday opponents at a Point Supremacy spread of 44-48. That means the 2003 champions need to beat Tonga by more than 48 points for you to start making any money if you buy at that price. 2. Chelsea vs Liverpool – Total Goals, 3-3.2Only Norwich have conceded more than Chelsea’s 11 goals. Only Liverpool and Man City have scored more than Chelsea’s 11 goals. Last time these 2 sides met in the Super Cup normal time ended with a 2-2 draw. Tammy Abrahams is the Premier League’s joint top scorer with 7 goals. All reasons to pay attention to a Total Goals spread of 3-3.2. Just ignore the fact that neither of last season’s European champions failed to score mid-week. 3. New Zealand vs South Africa – South Africa Outright Index, 60-64Understandably, the All Blacks are favourites to successfully defend title in Japan, sitting at an Outright Index spread of 74-78 – the winners get 100 points – and a fixed odds price of 11/8. However, in the Rugby Championship they drew against eventual victors South Africa, before losing to Australia. That maybe makes the Springboks an attractive prospect going into Saturday’s clash, with Rassie Erasmus’ side at an Outright Index spread of 60-64. 4. West Ham vs Man United – 3-1 West Ham Correct Score Market, 8-11Though Man United weren’t particularly troubled by Astana during their 1-0 win on Thursday, the Europa League is nevertheless an energy-sapping venture for those in the competition. West Ham, then, may fancy their chances of replicating last season’s 3-1 home victory. The hosts sit at a 3-1 West Ham Correct Score spread of 8-11 – that’s where 25 points are awarded for the correct outcome, with a 50 point bonus for getting the exact correct score. 5. Southampton vs Bournemouth – Danny Ings SMM, 37-43Danny Ings has had a rather tepid start to his season, scoring just one in 5 league games. Ralph Hassenhutl, then, will be hoping he steps up during Friday’s New Forest derby against Bournemouth. The former Liverpool forwards sits at a SMM spread of 37-43.Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
