Europa League qualifiers for Wolves and Aberdeen, another game in Pittsburgh for the Cardinals, and the first of the World Matchplay quarter-finals make-up our Spread Bets of the Day!

1. Wolves vs Crusaders – Diogo Jota SMM, 113-133
After a wonderful return to the Premier League, Wolves start their European adventure this Thursday when they host Norther Ireland’s Crusaders.

Already Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have won the Asia Trophy pre-season, trouncing Newcastle 4-0 before beating Man City on penalties following a goalless draw in Shanghai, so will be feeling confident ahead of kick-off.

Diogo Jota shone in that win over Newcastle, and heads into the Europa League qualifier at a huge SMM spread of 113-133.


2. Chikhura Sachkhere vs Aberdeen – Aberdeen 2-1, 17-20
Aberdeen won both of their legs against Finland’s RoPS 2-1, resulting in a 4-2 victory on aggregate. Thursday’s opponents Chikhura Sachkhere managed exactly the same result, overcoming Luxembourg’s Fola Esch en route to the 2nd round of qualifying.

So, who’s going to win 2-1 this time? The Scots sit at an Aberdeen 2-1 binary spread of 17-20 to their Georgian hosts’ 5-8.


3. St Louis @ Pittsburgh – St. Louis to win, 45.4-50
The Cardinals are chasing a clean sweep against the Pirates, having won 6-5, 4-3 and 14-8 in their first 3 games.

It’s actually a hard fixture to call despite that, with St. Louis at a binary to win spread of 45.4-50 to Pittsburgh’s 50-54.6.


4. Michael Smith vs Mervyn King – Mervyn King Ton or Bust
Besting defending champion Gary Anderson in the 2nd round, Mervyn King now takes on 5th seed Michael Smith in the quarters.

Only Peter Wright has managed a higher checkout than The King so far, leading Spreadex to offer a King Ton or Bust spread of 210-225 – that’s the aggregate checkout scores of 100 or more.


5. Glen Durrant vs James Wade – Durrant Outright Index, 27.5-30.5
As the man to knock out tournament favourite and world no. 1 Michael van Gerwen, Glen Durrant will now fancy his chances of getting to the final.

He faces James Wade in his quarter-final and, despite being unseeded, Duzza has the superior Outright Index spread of 27.5-30.5 to the Machine’s 19-22.
