Spread Bets Of The Day
In a newly shaken-up race for Europe, Man United are chasing 4th when they host Southampton. Meanwhile, Oxford and Wycombe meet in the League One play-off final, and Real Madrid make the trip to Granada. But which markets should you be watching? 1. Man United v Southampton – Danny Ings SMM, 19-23With Man City back in the Champions League, a top 4 finish is now required to reach the continent’s top club competition next season. Luckily for Man United, that is within reach as they host Southampton at 8pm on Sky Sports Premier League. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are in the form of their life, unbeaten in 17 games in all competitions. Crucially their upswing in form domestically – their results since lockdown are 1-1 at Spurs, 3-0 against Sheffield, 3-0 against Brighton, 5-2 against Bournemouth and 3-0 at Villa – has coincided with Leicester’s collapse. After 24 games the Foxes had a 14 point lead over United, and looked a cert for at least 3rd place. Now the red half of Manchester can force them into 5th, with a 2 point deficit between the 2 clubs. Marcus Rashford (at a SMM spread of 39-46), Anthony Martial (at 36-42), Mason Greenwood (at 33-39) and Bruno Fernandes (at 32-38) have all seriously impressed post-break, with the Portuguese January signing something of a game changer. Yet, none of them have as many Premier League goals in 2019/20 as Danny Ings. Still a dark horse contender for the Golden Boot, the 27-year old is on 19 goals, and is worth a watch at a Super Mega Minutes spread of 19-23. 2. Oxford United v Wycombe Wanderers – Oxford United/Wycombe Goal Supremacy, 0.25-0.45Heading to an empty Wembley Stadium, Oxford United and Wycombe Wanderers meet in the League One play-off final at 7.30pm on Sky Sports Football. The Wanderers were the more comfortable side in the semis, beating Fleetwood 6-3 on aggregate. Oxford, meanwhile, needed a penalty shoot out to get past Portsmouth. Yet the Us actually beat Wycombe 1-0 in their sole meeting this season. That explains why they are oh-so-slightly fancied, at an Oxford United/Wycombe Goal Supremacy spread of 0.25-0.45. 3. Granada v Real Madrid – Penalty Goal Minutes, 17-20With Barca breathing down their necks, Real Madrid can’t really afford to slip up when they travel to Granada at 9pm on La Liga TV (Sky 435). Zidane’s side have been riding their luck lately. They’ve need a penalty in each of their last 3 games to get things going, beating Getafe and Athletic Bilbao thanks solely those spot kicks. Will that be the case on Monday? Spreadex are offering a Penalty Goal Minutes spread of 17-20. Disclaimer: quoted prices are subject to change.
