Premier League title-favourites Chelsea feature in Saturday's early 12.45pm kick-off at Newcastle with the Magpies 6/1, the draw 3/1, Chelsea 40/85 and our spread betting Goal Supremacy Chelsea/Newcastle (h) 1.05 – 1.25.

This weekend sees the third round of matches in the newly formed Champions Cup and Challenge Cup.

The action starts with La Rochelle v Exeter in the Challenge Cup tonight (Thursday) with La Rochelle 11/10, Exeter 8/11, the draw 20/1 and our spread betting Points Supremacy price Exeter/La Rochelle 0 – 3.

We're getting close to the quarter-final stages of the UK Championship in York as the last few matches of the fourth round are completed today (Thursday).

Ronnie O'Sullivan remains the outright favourite with his price shortening following the elimination of defending champion Neil Robertson who lost 6-5 to Graeme Dott.

Under fire England captain Alastair Cook earned some much-needed breathing space as England beat Sri Lanka by five wickets in a rain-affected third ODI on Wednesday.

England are now 2-1 down in the seven match series and play the fourth ODI on Sunday.

The big match of round 12 saw Green Bay Packers beat New England Patriots 26 – 21, shaking up the outright betting.

Green Bay are now the 7/2 favourites to win the Super Bowl in February with New England slipping to 15/4, the same price as Denver Broncos who beat Kansas City 29 – 16.

George Osborne's Autumn Statement has done little to move the outright betting for the next general election, despite a headline-grabbing shake up of the current stamp duty system.

Labour remain favourites to get most seats at 4/5, the Conservatives are even money, UKIP are 40/1 and the Lib Dems 400/1.
In terms of overall majority, no overall majority is 2/5, Labour majority is 4/1, Conservative majority also 4/1, UKIP majority is 80/1 and Lib Dem majority is 200/1.

As for Next Prime Minister after David Cameron betting, Ed Miliband is 21/20 favourite, Boris Johnson 13/2, Theresa May 11/1, Andy Burnham 12/1, Yvette Cooper and George Osborne at 14/1, Chuka Umunna 16/1 and Nigel Farage 22/1.
