Sports Update

All eyes in the golfing world will be on the Augusta National Golf Club tomorrow (Thursday) for the start of 2013 Masters Tournament.

Tiger Woods is back at the world number one spot and generating plenty of interest. However, it’s not all about just predicting the winner with Spreadex.

We are paying out on the first five for each way fixed odds bets and the first eight in our Leaderboard spread betting index, where Tiger is currently 25-28 (80-40-30-25-20-15-10-5).

There are a host of specials to choose from including Winning Score, Winning Margin, Number of Players Under Par, Lowest Round Score etc and a plethora of in-play options including a Round 1 in-running Leaderboard, selected 10-3s and Player Scores in-running and a Tournament Leaderboard in-running throughout the competition.

The last two Champions League quarter-final matches take place tonight (Wednesday) as we settle who the semi-finalists will be.

Total Goal Minutes settled at 296 in the first leg between Barcelona and PSG. Will we be in for more of the same again? Our TGM’s quote is 161-176 in this one.

The second match of the evening sees Juventus host Bayern. The German side hold a 2-0 lead over the Italians going into this match. Can the home side turn it round at the Juventus Stadium? Our Supremacy quote is Bayern/Juventus 0-0.2.

There might be no English representatives left in the Champions League, but Thursday’s Europa League has three matches involving Premier League sides.

After conceding two away goals in a 2-2 first leg draw, Tottenham face a tricky trip to Austria as they take on Basel. Will they progress in the competition? We have AVB’s side at 9/5 for the win, with Basel at 7/5 and the draw 9/4.

Chelsea put three past Rubin Kazan in their first leg in a 3-1 win. Will there be goals in the second? Our Total Goals quote in this match is currently 2.35-2.55.

After going down 3-1 in Portugal Alan Pardew’s side have it all to do at St James’ Park. Our Supremacy quote here is Benfica/Newcastle 0.05-0.25.

Domestic affairs take centre stage in this week’s rugby action after the excitement of last week’s Heineken Cup quarter-finals.

Things get underway in the RaboDirect Pro 12 on Friday as Glasgow Warriors travel to Wales to face a Scarlets side that have lost just one of their last seven matches.

In the Aviva Premiership’s Friday night game Sale host Gloucester. Sale are unbeaten in their last two, but haven’t managed three without defeat in the competition since 2011.

We will also be covering the rest of the weekend’s RaboDirect Pro 12 and Aviva Premiership games along with Rugby League, NRL and the Super Rugby.

As usual we will have in-running prices on all five the Premier League clashes. Tomorrow’s (Thursday’s) action comes from Sheffield.

The highlights this week include Robert Thornton taking on Simon Whitlock, where our Total 180’s quote is 6.3-6.8 and Michael van Gerwen v Phil Taylor, where our 10-3 Supremacy quote is 1.5 choice.

Sebastian Vettel triumphed in controversial circumstances in Malaysia, but can he repeat the trick in China? He’s currently being quoted at 9.5-11 on our Live Index, with Fernando Alonso 6.75-8.25, Kimi Raikkonen 4.25-5.75, Lewis Hamilton 3.5-5 and Jenson Button 1-2.

Elsewhere, there will also be prices on daily horse racing, NBA, NCAA Basketball, the BNP Paribas Katowice Open and the Indian Premier League.
