Last week's caption image was of Kevin Pietersen on a Segway. The winner was Mr Carroll who quipped "‘You have me, or if you want the heavy roller, Gatting’s in the pavillion.” Congratulations, £50 is now in your fixed odds wallet.

Sports Update

All the British clubs may have exited the Champions League, but there’s plenty of interest in the Europa League and once again we’ll be trading all eight of tonight’s (Thursday’s) matches in-play including Chelsea’s clash with Steaua (Chels/Steaua 1.4-1.6) Tottenham’s journey to Italy (Int/Tot 0.1-0.3) and Newcastle v Anzhi (New/Anz 0-0.2).

In domestic affairs, the Premier League action kicks off at 12.45pm on Saturday as Everton host Man City. These two played out a 1-1 draw when they last met back in December. We have Everton at 12/5 for the win, Man City at 11/10 and the draw 9/4.

There are four three o’clock kick offs this week including Aston Villa v QPR (Ast/QPR 0.2-0.4), Southampton v Liverpool (Liv/Sou 0.6-0.8), Stoke v West Brom (0.1-0.3) and Swansea v Arsenal (Ars/Swa 0.25-0.45).

At 17.30 Man Utd host Reading. The Royals parted company with Brian Mc Dermott this week. Will this lead to an upturn in form? Our Supremacy quote here is Man Utd/Reading 2.45-2.65.
Mainly due to European involvement we have a number of games on Sunday including Sunderland v Norwich (Sun/Nor 0.4-0.6), Tottenham v Fulham (1.1-1.3) and Chelsea v West Ham (Che/West 1.4-1.6).

At 16.00 Wigan go head-to-head with Newcastle. There have been ten goals in Wigan’s last three matches. Will we be in for a goal fest here? Our Total Goals quote is: 2.8-3.

This year’s Cheltenham Festival has already seen some memorable moments involving Hurricane Fly and Sprinter Acre to name but two.

Today’s big races are the World Hurdle involving Get me out of here 10-13, Oscar Whisky 17-20 and Reve De Sivola 14-17 and the Ryan Air chase where First Lieutenant leads the way in the betting at 20-23, with Cue Card 15-18 and Riverside Theatre 10-13.

Our festival markets are available as well, with highlights including Festival Favourites 265-272, Festival Distances 108-115, Biggest Winning SP 19.2-20.2 and Irish Trained Winners x10 108-112.

We are also offering prices for other upcoming races. Don’t see a price for a horse in a particular race that you are interested in?

Then simply email us at stating the horse and race in question and we will get back to you with a price.

Don’t forget that we are now offering an Unnamed Favourite market on each horse race. This allows you to place a bet on whichever horse is the starting price favourite at the off. Note that if the favourite is nominated and two or more runners start at the shortest odds, then stakes are equally divided over the ‘joint’ or ‘co’ favourites created. So, if you place £10 on ‘Unnamed Favourite’ and there are two favourites, you will get a £5 bet on each of them.

The Six Nations rugby reaches its conclusion on Saturday with three tasty looking fixtures to look forward too.

On Saturday at 14.30 Ireland host Italy. Not since 2007 have Italy ended the tournament with two victories. Can they do it this year? We have Ireland at xxx for the win, Italy at xxx and the draw.

At 17.00 England continue their quest for the Grand Slam as they go head-to-head with a Welsh side that could also be crowned champions. Our Supremacy quote is Eng/Wal 0-2.

The final match of the day sees France go up against Scotland at the Stade de France. The home side go into this one looking to avoid finishing bottom for the first time in Six Nations History. We have them at 1/9 for the win, Scotland at 6/1 and the Draw 28/1.

We will also be covering the Rugby League, NRL and Super Rugby.

England’s second Test with New Zealand is now underway with the visitors making 267/2 on the first day of play in Wellington. How many runs will they go on to get? We are currently quoting England Runs at 504-519.

Elsewhere, we will also be covering the action in the first Test between the West Indies and Zimbabwe, the third Test between India and Australia and the ODI’s between South Africa and Pakistan.

As usual we will have in-running prices on all five the Premier League clashes. This evening (Thursday) the action comes from Manchester.

The highlights this week include James Wade and Simon Whitlock, where our Total 180’s quote is 5.3-5.8 and Raymond van Barneveld v Robert Thornton, where our 10-3 Supremacy quote is Barney/Thornton 6-9.

Alvaro Quiros has had a four-month absence from the game, but returns in this week’s European Tour date at the Avantha Masters. Leading the way in the betting so far are Thongchai Jaidee, Ricordo Santos and Anirban Lahiri.

The new F1 season is nearly upon us as the new season gets underway in Australia. Jenson Button triumphed here last year and is 33-36 on our Race Index to do it again this time around.

Our Long term prices are also now available. Do you think Sebastian Vettel has what it takes to defend his title? We have him at 34-37 on our Drivers’ Championship index. British interest once again comes from Jenson Button 18-21 and Lewis Hamilton 16-19.

Elsewhere, there will also be prices on the NBA, Indian Wells Tennis and the Players Tour Championship Snooker.
