The Europa League takes centre stage tonight with a number of English sides in action. Spurs could cement their place in the next round tonight and are favourites to win in Moldova at 1/3 against FC Sheriff in a 6pm kick-off. However if you sniff an upset, at Spreadex we’re industry best price on the draw 9/2 and a Sheriff win at 12/1.

Swansea and Wigan both kick-off at 8.05pm hosting Kuban Krasnodar and Rubin Kazan respectively.

Looking ahead to the weekend and arguably the biggest match of the weekend is Chelsea v Manchester City on Sunday. However, the action begins with managerless Crystal Palace hosting table-toppers Arsenal. Do you fancy a feast of goals here? Our Total Goals spread is 3.05-3.25.

There are four 3pm starts in the Premier League this week including; Aston Villa v Everton (Ast/Eve 0.2-0.4), Liverpool v West Brom (Liv/West Brom 1.3-1.5), Man Utd v Stoke (ManU/Sto 1.45-1.65) and Norwich v Cardiff (Nor/Car 0.25-0.45).

Southampton host Fulham at 5.30pm. Martin Jol’s side rifled in four goals last time out. But how will they cope against an in-form Saints? We’re quoting the Cottagers Total Goals at 0.75-0.95.

The Tyne-Wear derby takes place at 1.30pm on Sunday with Sunderland bottom of the league with only one point. Will the Toon pile more misery on Gus Poyet’s troops? We’re quoting Supremacy at 0.1 choice.

There are three Sunday 4pm matches which see Chelsea hosting Man City (Chel/ManCity 0.15-0.35), West Ham traveling to Wales as they take on Swansea (Swa/WHU 0.8-1) and Tottenham tackling Hull (Tott/Hull 1.15-1.35).

It may have not had the fanfare that would have heralded the equivalent football or rugby union tournament, but Saturday marks the start of the Rugby League World Cup as England face Australia in Cardiff.

The competition hosts are sure to be in for a tough afternoon with Australia as the 2/5 outright fixed odds favourites to win the tournament (50-53 on our 60-40-20-10 spread index). England by contrast are 11/2 to win the tournament or 31-34 on our spread index.

So can Steve McNamara’s men put a warm-up defeat to Italy behind them and shock the Aussies? Our Supremacy price for this one is Australia/England 12-15.

Our coverage of the Aviva Premiership gets underway tomorrow (Friday) as Bath host Gloucester at the Recreation Ground. Will home advantage prove too much? Our Supremacy quote is Bath/Gloucester 7-10.

There are also three matches in the RaboDirect Pro12 tomorrow (Friday) with games including Ospreys v Dragons (Osp/Dra 12-15), Ulster v Cardiff (Uls/Car 12-15) and Glasgow v Munster (Gla/Mun 6-9).

The U.S. tour golf this week comes from the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club for the CIMB Classic. Nick Watney is the defending Champion, but is likely to face a fierce challenge from the likes of Phil Mickelson, Keegan Bradley and Hideki Matsuyama.

The European tour stops at Lake Malaran in China for the BMW Masters. Henrik Stenson leads the way in the betting, closely followed by Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald and Martin Kaymer.

We’re into week 8 of the NFL season with the action getting underway in the early hours on Friday morning with the Carolina Panthers clashing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Will the Buccaneers get their first win this season? Our Supremacy quote in this one is Carolina/Tampa 6-8.

The first of our Sunday matches comes from London this week as Wembley plays host to the San Francisco 49ers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. San Fran/Jacksonville 16-18.

The WTA Championship continues in Istanbul this week. Tonight’s action sees Serena Williams take on Petra Kvitova. Can the world number one see off the Czech with victory here? Williams/Kvitova13-16.

We will be covering the action in the ATP Basel over the weekend as the men look to triumph in Switzerland.
