Leicester v Man City, Arsenal v Liverpool, What Happens Next?

Denmark’s Thomas Delaney is in training during the international break – what happens next?

Spread Bets of the WeekEND

1. Leicester v Man City – 5.30pm Saturday, Sky Sports Premier League
The Premier League returns with a bang on Saturday. The first of a stacked double main event sees league leaders City against 3rd place – but only by a point – Leicester. April could make or break City’s quadruple dreams – the month sees the EFL Cup final, FA Cup semi-final and Champions League quarter-final – and they will want to return from the international break hot.

Spreadex is offering a City/Leicester (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 1-1.2, and a Total Goals spread of 2.65-2.85.

2. Arsenal v Liverpool – 8pm Saturday, Sky Sports Premier League
A fixture that still feels big despite some of the shine coming off of it this season, Arsenal can shockingly pull within 1 point of defending champions Liverpool with a win on Sunday. Before the break, the Reds had just picked up their 2nd win since the end of January, while the Gunners are coming off a period that saw wins over Leicester and Tottenham, but draws against Burnley and, thrillingly, West Ham.

Spreadex still fancies the visitors, at a Liverpool/Arsenal (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.25-0.45, alongside a Total Goals spread of 2.85-3.05.

3. Newcastle v Tottenham – 2.05pm Sunday, Sky Sports Premier League
Steve Bruce always feels one game away from being fired. Especially since, if Newcastle lose to Tottenham and Fulham beat Aston Villa, the Magpies would be in the relegation zone. Spurs, meanwhile, could crack the top 4 dependent on what Chelsea and West Ham do this weekend.

Spreadex is offering a Tottenham/Newcastle (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0.85-1.05, and a Total Goals spread of 2.6-2.8.

4. Man United v Brighton – 7.30pm Sunday, BT Sport 1
In danger of letting Leicester snatch 2nd place, United nevertheless return after the international break looking for their 10th consecutive game unbeaten in the league. The Seagulls, who sit 6 points above the relegation zone, shouldn’t pose too much of a problem for Solskjaer and the boys.

At least, that’s what is indicated by a Man United/Brighton Goal Supremacy spread of 0.8-1. Spreadex also has a Total Goals spread of 2.55-2.75, and a Total Goal Minutes spread of 130-140.

5. Wolves v West Ham – 8.15pm Monday, Sky Sports Premier League
West Ham are essentially the Wolves of 2020/21. But can they beat their once high-flying, but now rather middling, opponents? This will be the first test for the Hammers since they blew their 3-0 lead against Arsenal, and could be important for setting the tone for the season’s close.

It could be tight, but Spreadex is offering a West Ham/Wolves (h) Goal Supremacy spread of 0-0.2, and a Total Goals spread of 2.15-2.35.
