Our Cash Out feature allows you to close bets early either to take a profit or cut a loss.
This functionality works for both our spread betting and fixed odds (sportsbook) products.
And, unlike many other operators, we offer 3 ways to cash out giving you even more control over your betting.
Use the links below to jump to more information on each type of Cash Out we offer.
One-Click Cash Out
Partial Cash Out
Auto-Cash Out
For One-Click cash out, first check the "One-click cash out" tick box in the Current Bets section when logged into your Spreadex account.
Then simply click to accept your cash out amount listed under Cash Out Value if you wish to close your bet early.
If you do not first check the “One-click cash out” option, you will be asked to confirm your Cash Out requests meaning it will take slightly longer to close out your bets.
Speed of cash out can often be important in order to close out bets quickly in-play to take your nominated profit, especially in a fast-paced match or event!
This feature allows you to close just part of your bet and keep the rest running (for fixed odds only).
To access this functionality, first navigate to your Open Bets section when logged into your Spreadex Sports account.
You will see a cash out value for each bet you have open (providing there is a cash out value available).
You can either click to accept the cash out bet value and close the bet early or you can use the slider option to nominate how much of the bet you wish to close out.
Remember this is for fixed odds singles and multiples only.
Auto-Cash Out allows you to place bets that automatically close out if your in-play position reaches a nominated level of profit.
This helps when you are betting on a match or event which you cannot watch live.
To use, simply enter your preferred Auto-Cash Out level on the betslip when placing your bet.
Note that this feature is only available for sports spread betting.
If you were to buy £10 of Total Goals at 2.5, you could set to automatically cash out if the profit got to £30 or higher. Once set this would mean as soon as the price hit 5.5-5.7 the bet would automatically close by selling £10 at 5.5 for a profit of £30.
Please also note if the price went through the barrier you would get the extra at best execution, e.g. the quote was 5.1-5.3 and a goal was scored and the match suspends. The next price out might be 6.1-6.3, in which case you would be closed at 6.1 and make £36.
You can edit your Auto-Cash Out levels by clicking on the Cog icon next to the bet you wish to edit.
You will receive an email to tell you if your Auto-Cash Out has been triggered.
You can also select to receive a text alert. Or you can turn off messaging completely.
To manage your settings, just visit "My Account" then "Trading Preferences" when logged into your Spreadex Sports account.
Choose whether you want to receive an email alert, text message, both or neither and then hit "Submit changes".
